Prof. Sandra J. Diller was recognised as the 2025 Champion of Courage – Ethical Impact for her influential work advancing ethics in leadership, coaching, and personality development through research, teaching, and global dialogue.
In an era defined by complex ethical challenges, Sandra’s work brings clarity to areas that are often overlooked. Her research explores the intersection of leadership, personality, and ethics — examining how power, organisational culture, and individual behaviour influence ethical decision-making in professional environments.
Rather than avoiding uncomfortable questions, Sandra’s work shines a light on the dynamics that can quietly shape organisations. Her research investigates topics such as destructive leadership, dark personality traits in organisational contexts, and the ethical tensions that arise when power and responsibility intersect.
Through this work, she helps leaders, coaches, and organisations recognise patterns that might otherwise remain hidden — enabling them to respond with greater awareness, responsibility, and integrity.
Sandra’s influence extends far beyond academic research. As Professor at Seeburg Castle University and Head of the MBA in Coaching programme, she has helped integrate ethical reflection into leadership and coaching education. She also contributes to global professional dialogue through research collaborations, symposia, and practitioner publications that translate complex research into practical insight.
