Champions of Courage Awards F&Q
1. Who can be nominated for a Champions of Courage (CoCA) Award?
Individuals, teams, and organisations engaged in coaching, mentoring, or leadership who have demonstrated courage, positive impact, and innovation are eligible.
2. Can I nominate myself?
Yes, self-nominations are welcome. However, all self-nominations must include an endorsement from an individual who knows the nominee and can independently support the nomination.
3. Can I submit multiple nominations?
Yes. Multiple nominations are permitted for different nominees. Each nominee may only be entered into one award category, and a separate nomination fee applies to each nomination submitted.
4. Is there a nomination fee?
Yes. A non-refundable nomination fee applies to all submissions.
- €40 per nomination for Courageous Leadership, Courageous Changemaker, Courageous Innovation, and Courageous Impact.
- €70 per nomination for Courageous Collective (team or organisational nominations).
A separate nomination fee applies to each nomination submitted.
All payments are securely processed via Stripe.
You could then follow it with another related question if you want to be especially clear:
5. If I submit multiple nominations, do I pay multiple fees?
Yes. Each nomination is treated as a separate submission and attracts its own nomination fee. Multiple nominations are permitted for different nominees, but each nominee may only be entered into one award category.
That second question may seem repetitive, but it’s exactly the sort of thing people ask when they are about to pay. It also reinforces your one-category-per-nominee rule without sounding punitive.
6. What is the submission process?
Complete the nomination form via our online portal. Supporting materials can be uploaded directly within the form.
7. What supporting materials are required?
Supporting materials are optional, but strongly encouraged. These may include testimonials, case studies, or any other evidence that supports the nominee’s alignment with the award criteria.
8. What is the submission deadline?
The submission period opens on 27 February and closes on 31 May. Late submissions will not be considered.
9. What happens after I submit my nomination?
All submissions will be acknowledged, and shortlisted nominees will be contacted by October for additional details if needed.
All nominations will be reviewed by the judging panel. Shortlisted nominees will be contacted for additional details if needed.
10. Are the judging criteria publicly available?
Yes. You can download the current Judging Criteria here.
11. When will the winners be announced?
