Champions of Courage Awards – Terms of Service

1. Overview

The Champions of Courage Awards were founded by Wendy-Ann Smith to recognise and celebrate individuals and collectives demonstrating courage, integrity, and ethical impact in their work and communities.

The awards are administered through AETHIC, a registered non-profit association supporting ethical practice in professional and leadership contexts.

By submitting a nomination or participating in the awards process, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

2. Nomination Fees and Refund Policy

A non-refundable nomination fee applies to each submission, as stated on the official nomination form.

All fees are final and non-refundable, regardless of outcome or withdrawal, as they cover administrative and review costs associated with the judging process.

Payments are processed securely and received by AETHIC, which manages the awards fund.

3. Eligibility and Submission

Nominations must be submitted through the official online form at championsofcourage.com before the published deadline. Incomplete or late entries will not be considered.

4. Publication and Use of Information

By submitting a nomination, you confirm that:

  • The information provided is accurate and submitted with the nominee’s consent.
  • If the nominee is selected as an award recipient, their name, photo, and summary profile may be published on the Champions of Courage Awards website, in Ethical Edge Insights magazine, at the Coaching Ethics Forum conference, and across related media channels.
  • This material may remain publicly accessible as part of the awards archive.

If you are submitting on behalf of another person or organisation, you are responsible for ensuring that they have consented to this use.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

Personal information provided through nominations is handled in accordance with the Champions of Courage Awards Privacy Policy. Data will be stored securely and used solely for the purposes of administering and promoting the awards.

6. Judging and Decisions

All judging decisions are final. Champions of Courage reserves the right to verify eligibility, disqualify incomplete entries, or withhold awards if submissions do not meet the required standard.

7. Amendments

Champions of Courage may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be published on this page. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
